Hideyoshi settled his headquarter here because here was a weak spot of Bessho-side. And he had a grand view of Miki Castle and admitted here to be a good place to make tactics in the battle. Hanbei, his secretary of military operations, died here. The tea ceremony in commemorating of Hideyoshi is held here on October 15 1578.
