After changing the style of this ceremony in its long history, "Oni-oi Shiki" (the purifying ceremony by demons) is held with the cooperation of the Getsurin-ji Temple and the Omiya Hachiman Shrine. Many demons of red, black, big and small do their performance for praying the peace of the town while shaking fires of torches.
